 Welcome to this new feature of our website.

In the coming months we hope to keep you updated with news in the world of coffee as well as the world of Gigante Coffee.

We are absolutely delighted to announce the results of the 2008 Golden Bean Roasters Awards.  This competition has established itself as the most respected in the industry and this year it attracted entries from more than 100 roasters from around the nation.

 

Gigante Coffee entered blends in 3 categories: Espresso, Milk-Based and Organic

We are  proud to have  received a Gold Medal for our 100% Fairtrade Blend.  (Our cupping notes for this blend are on our Espresso Blends page)

In the Espresso section we were awarded a Bronze medal.

In the Milk-based section we received yet another Bronze medal.

Our medal tally of 8 in the first 3 years of competition would rank us as one of Australia's best roasters, and is testament to the dedication that goes into blend formulation and the care taken with our roasting.
