Gigante Coffee has created 3 espresso blends which are very different and in their own right very special. Each blend incorporates only the finest arabica beans, and each has a component of East Timor Organic, a clean, rich, full-bodied coffee. As a result each blend is lower in caffeine than traditional espresso blends which tend to have a robusta base, and our espresso blends have broader, sweeter flavour profiles.
Our slow roasting process (approximately 30% longer than most modern cycles) ensures that beans are allowed to reach fullest flavour, and because we only roast to order we can ensure optimum freshness.
Our award-winning espresso blend has broad appeal. This is a medium roast incorporating 6 individual varietals. Its strength is its adaptability to the whole range of espresso beverages. Mokacino exhibits a thick golden crema with a hint of nuttiness, great balance and a satisfying aftertaste.
This blend is roasted to a dark chocolate colour. The result is the base for the perfect caffe latte. The flavour profile is complex with hints of caramel and chocolate. The crema is a rich burnt orange and the sweet, smoky aftertaste lingers on the palate.
Multi award-winning blend of premium Fair Trade beans. Roasted to a ruby dark chocolate to produce an appealing thick toffee coloured crema.The profile is a full bodied symphony of spices, with hints of vanilla and orange confit, finishing with a sweet milk chocolate aftertaste.
